Our Story

My Meal has its humble beginnings in a small, passion-built family business that started almost 30 years ago – Eve’s Catering.  At the time, Eve’s was born out of a genuine love for feeding people wholesome food, spurred on by the need for a single mother to provide for her children. The business flourished and has since become a much-loved staple in tummies everywhere (if you’ve heard of Eve’s famous crunchies, then you already know). 

Now, My Meal has been founded with the vision of making Eve’s cherished, homemade meals available to everyone. Because after all, good food should always be shared. 

As an online food service, our mission is to provide wholesome food to your doorstep that not only frees up your time, but lets you feel assured that your family is well looked after in the nutrition department.

Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?
A: Delivery is within 48hrs from ordering – not including weekends – and you will receive an email in the morning letting you know when your order is on the way.

Q: How do I store my food?
A: All frozen products must go into the freezer once received.
Q: What areas does My Meal deliver to?
A: We currently deliver throughout Northern Johannesburg, including: Sandton, Rivonia, Bryanston, Rosebank, Killarney, Fourways, Randburg, Northcliff, Northriding, Kyalami, Houghton, Westcliff, Parkview and all areas between those.

Q: Can I request delivery days or times?
A: Yes, there is a section on the checkout page that allows you to leave a note which we will see when your order comes through.
Q: Can I change my order once I have made payment?
A: If your order is not yet en-route you may email us at and we can see if we can assist you.
Q: Can I pay via EFT if I do not feel comfortable putting in my card details?
A: Yes, Pay Fast (our payment gateway) allows for card payments, zapper or EFT.
